modular konkurïto vase (2010) dimensions: 13 x 13 x 28.5 cm

The designer Xiral Segard rapidly specialized in concrete to create domestic items which make best use of modular design and clearness. She presents three projects at in the framework of  first paris design week.

The Konkurïto vase was inspired by the Japanese “bento” box. Completely concrete, it consists of 4 modular stackable elements and a cover. Depending on the size of your bouquet, the water reservoir is located at the top or bottom.

“gayalux” interior lamp (2003) dimensions: diameter 18 and 26 cm

The concrete Gayalux lamp is both sculptural and luminous. This mineral ball is anchored to the ground and it appears to levitate with a streak of light passing through it. Concrete turns from architecture to objects. The block becomes curved like skin.
