Felt in love with rocks...

these amazing felt rocks are made of 100% wool felt. the process of making rocks is kind of interesting – this is the byproduct in the industrial process of making optical lenses. at this process small bits of wool fluff gather more and more felt fiber, growing like snowballs, so rocks are formed without any glues or binders. like river rocks, each rock takes on a unique shape.
playing with felt rocks is imaginary game for kids, as well as for adults. balancing, building and imagining they are everything from telephones to landforms to creatures one can talk to.
felt rock sizes vary from 10-15 cm in diam., sold in set of 6 hand selected rocks, including one rock that has been split in half to reveal a solid wool interior.  packaged in a natural wool felt bag, that can be re-purposed as a fashionable and useful hand bag.
felt rocks is product of Canadian design studio molo. For more information visit molodesign.com
